About Bobby
Bobby was born 12/19/2022 to the beautiful D-Best Carmel Lotte AKA "Penny." Sired by Rare Bulldogs Blue Merle Tonka Truck AKA, "Tonka," this absolutely perfect little chocolate based merle boy quickly became the center of attention here.
Bobby has been healthy despite his diminutive stature, but he had a rough start in life. Bobby was born a water baby (walrus puppy) and because of this, Bob (expectedly) lost weight in his first few weeks of life. Because of this, it took several weeks for us to realize just how small he is without all the fluid buildup. Unfortunately during this time, our incredible girl Penny, Bobby's mom, passed on after several surgeries. Because of all that Penny was going through in the weeks leading to her death, Bobby was a bottle baby. It was very easy for us to get attached to him when we had to wake up every 2 hours to feed him. This little guy consumed every bit of our free time and more.
Bobby hit another speed bump when we introduced him to puppy food for the first time and we found that he is allergic to something in it (we are assuming chicken until the test results come back for his allergy panel). Although Bobby didn't need us to feed him as often anymore, he continues to keep us busy because all of his meals have to be carefully prepared.
Spending all of this time with Bobby has led to a deep attachment to him and despite the fact that the last thing we needed was another male dog in the house, Bobby is here to stay.
One day when he was about 8 weeks old, Bobby got into my art supplies and made a mess and from there his love of painting has just grown.
